Fiberglass
Important Information Regarding Fiberglass Parts - The fit of fiberglass body parts is not the same as regular stamped steel replacement parts. Fiberglass parts are not mechanically produced, therefore they have a difference in fit from parts which are mechanically "stamped" etc. Because the original production of fiberglass parts were designed for racing, the standard to which they are produced is closer to race car standard than show car standard. Professional results can be obtained, though some amount of work is required to achieve these results. Parts should not be painted until they have been properly fitted and prepared. Once a fiberglass part has been painted or sanded etc, it cannot be sold again as new. Therefore, the manufactures will not warrenty such parts. We have found through both our own experience, and our customers, that most issues involving the fit of parts are related to the history of the vehicle; such as accidents and parts which have been replaced or altered on the car. Please follow the proper procedures for fitting, preparation, and painting of the fiberglass parts for best results. If a fiberglass parts needs to be returned, we will only be responsible for the actual purchase price of the item, any freight charges are the responsibility of the purchaser. Please be advised that fiberglass hoods require the removal of stock hood springs (or use of lighter springs), the use of a hood prop rod and hood pins for safety. Available through TDB.
FIBERGLASS PARTS THAT HAVE BEEN SANDED, FILLED, PAINTED, OR MODIFIED IN ANYWAY CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED FOR ANY REASON, NO EXCEPTIONS.
